The Chesapeake Bay Program has issued its annual report on Bay health. The map continues to show poor water quality throughout the Bay and its rivers. Nitrogen levels improved while phosphorus increased and clarity declined. The Program analyzes scientific and social indicators throughout the entire 64,000 Bay watershed. Striped bass, bay anchovy, and blue crab fisheries are also tracked. For more details, see https://ecoreportcard.org/report-cards/chesapeake-bay/bay-health/
