Please Note:  The Oyster Recovery Partnership was cancelled for the 2019-2020 season due to weather conditions.

The Oyster Recovery Partnership is now accepting applications for participation in the 2019 Marylanders Grow Oysters Program.  The program is a collaboration between the Partnership, Maryland’s Departments of Natural Resources and of Safety and Correctional Services, and the University of Marylands’s Center for Environmental Science.  The program, begun in 2008 in the Tred Avon River, now has over 1,500 waterfront property owners throughout the Bay region growing millions of young oysters in cages suspended from private piers. Their goal? To protect the young oysters during their vulnerable first year of life, so they may be planted on local sanctuaries where the oysters can enrich the ecosystem and the oyster population.  For further information and an application form visit https://oysterrecovery.org/marylanders-grow-oysters/.  The application process ends on July 20th
